Here for some advice or rather help really. Or if anyone else has this problem?

So I was suffering from some fps drops when I was gaming. So I decided to look up stuff and found out about undervolting. At first it was working well, was able to play Battlefield 2042 and BFV without the sudden drops after I undervolted, using MSI Afterburner. I used Hotel Hero's video in YouTube for some guidance. Not sure if I'm even doing the "undervolting" right since I can't seem to reach that flat line the video shows.

After the Beta for 2042, that's when I started getting BSOD since I started playing the Witcher (1 and 2). I noticed that whenever I played the game with MSI/Rivatuner active with the overlay, it started happening (BSOD). Now I wasn't sure why since I was able to play both Battlefields with the overlay. It only happens with MSI afterburner/Rivatuner on. I thought it was cause of the undervolt that I've done so I put it all back to normal, it still happens. So I'm not sure if it's the Afterburner, is it a conflict with The Witcher games/engine? Did I somehow mess up my laptop by undervolting?

When I do check my event log, it says "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0xfffff80785857e50, 0xfffff68eb8818fc0, 0xfffff80780dfa191). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 542d586b-4d06-4962-9986-fe1cee65a535."

Did you used to be able to play the Witcher games without crashing? The beta may have overwrote some files with beta versions.
Where did you get Witcher games from? Is it GoG? (View: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/kb11o8/psa_how_to_get_rivatunerafterburner_overlay_to/
)

Witcher is from Steam. I can play the games if I don't have Afterburner/Rivatuner active. But when I do try to use it, it BSOD. I'm gonna be trying other games see if that's the problem.

Want to bump and update this thread. So now I've moved on all the way to Witcher 3. Except I think the problem persist. Not necessarily from Witcher itself but now I'm sometimes randomly getting BSOD even with nothing running except just my browser.

This is what I get from Event Viewer:
"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0xfffff80242a57e50, 0xffffa902d3810f70, 0xfffff8023c693524). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: fa79cc0d-7c10-4b48-8625-78ab3086bddb."

Any way I can diagnose this as to what exactly is causing the problem? How do I check what is the "bugcheck" that's going on. Could it really be MSI afterburner and Rivatuner? I have not been undervolting so I'm not sure what is actually going on.

Thanks.
