Here for some advice or rather help really. Or if anyone else has this problem?
So I was suffering from some fps drops when I was gaming. So I decided to look up stuff and found out about undervolting. At first it was working well, was able to play Battlefield 2042 and BFV without the sudden drops after I undervolted, using MSI Afterburner. I used Hotel Hero's video in YouTube for some guidance. Not sure if I'm even doing the "undervolting" right since I can't seem to reach that flat line the video shows.
After the Beta for 2042, that's when I started getting BSOD since I started playing the Witcher (1 and 2). I noticed that whenever I played the game with MSI/Rivatuner active with the overlay, it started happening (BSOD). Now I wasn't sure why since I was able to play both Battlefields with the overlay. It only happens with MSI afterburner/Rivatuner on. I thought it was cause of the undervolt that I've done so I put it all back to normal, it still happens. So I'm not sure if it's the Afterburner, is it a conflict with The Witcher games/engine? Did I somehow mess up my laptop by undervolting?
When I do check my event log, it says "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0xfffff80785857e50, 0xfffff68eb8818fc0, 0xfffff80780dfa191). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 542d586b-4d06-4962-9986-fe1cee65a535."
