Hello, 1st time trying to attempt a build/assemble a PC.

Hi, as title says this will be my first time building and attempting to assemble a PC. After months and months of reviews and comparison also hesitation, I decide to men up and join the club. So first off a little about myself I have recently became a father (Yay). Games that ill been a big fan of are mmorpg like Tera and Blade n Soul, also Legend of Leagues. So this build is mainly towards those until better titles comes out. So here we go...

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

p.s I also notice the build has a compatibility notes saying "Some AMD A88X chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs." Im a huge rookie and no idea if that'll be something easy to setup or avoid.

They are warning you about a possible catch-22. If the BIOS is loaded to the motherboard before Kaveri CPUs were made then the MB cannot use that CPU until you load a new BIOS with support for Kaveri. (MB makers refresh their BIOS to add support for later CPUs like Kaveri when they can) BUT you need a working older CPU to load the new BIOS and you don't have one so you are in trouble. The note is there so that you will make sure that the MB is preloaded with the right bios version.

There is no point in going with an APU if you are using an Nvidia graphics card.

The OS is the operating system. If you don't have a copy of windows, then you need one. SLI/Crossfire is when you use multiple graphics cards in one build. SLI is Nvidia, and Crossfire is AMD. Here is a good video comparing the two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGN1na3F5do

There was extra money left over and $150 for a 500 GB SSD was a good deal. Especially on a good SSD like the 850 Evo.

No, you don't need a sound card. Also for something like a DAC or sound card to make a difference you have to have high quality headphones.

Edit* A DAC can make stuff sound warmer or brighter from what I have read. I am no audio expert, so I suggest asking somebody else about audio. But it will work without buy a sound card.
