I've tried quite a bit of shit, albeit an year ago, to no avail. Now my fire to fix this has been reignited.

There have been people with the same problem and solutions on the internet, but they all seem to sum up to "update your mobo bios". The thing is, I'm pretty sure mine is updated, unless there is a hidden update somewhere I'm missing.

Things I did (possibly more but these I remember):

- Clean every driver with Display Driver Uninstaller
- Disabled onboard gpu

My build (pretty old one)

Mobo: H61M-P31-G3, bios 2.7
Processor: i5-3470 3.2Ghz
Ram: 2x 4gb
PSU: EVGA 600b
Current (and working) graphics card: gtx 650
The upgrade I'm trying to install: Pny gtx 960 2gb

Any help is appreciated!

Solution
