To solve this at first technician applied thermal paste in between heat sink ,cpu and gpu after cleaning but it didn't help. Then after a week changed cpu fan.
But still laptop was being shut down in 5-10 minutes. Now there is only one option left for me to change heat sink. What do you think? Should heat sink of this laptop should be changed ?
Is it possible that heat sensor of laptop is damaged, and bios is shutting down laptop while it is in normal temperature. Because when its shuts down cause of overheating I don't feel much heat in base cover(as I felt in my old dell laptop having similar issue).

Thank you, for your precious time.

I have Hp pavillion g6 2302ax laptop. From 6 months, it has been suffering from overheating. I have tried everything, from cleaning it thoroughly , applying proper thermal paste and two days before even changed fan, but still laptop just suddenly shuts down when doing little multitasking, like opening two tabs in browser, or surfing heavy websites. After shut down, it flashes message about overheating while touching the base it doesn't seem much hot. What is the problem?, I have read somewhere that when overheating caused by gpu it does not feel hot outside. Do you think the heatsink is culprit?
