Hi there. I recently found that one of my sata hdd had errors so i went into the win8 recovery comand prompt and used the "c:\chkdsk /f" command and it took about two days to reach 59% and had errors with indices. I gave up and hit the reset button on my pc and when the system cycled the power, it did not show anything on screen and no beep. Only hearing a clicking noise from the board. The clicking noise stopped. Thereafter j removed all components n left just the memory, cpu, plugged in and to no success. The fans start high and then go to a ridiculous low. Have test the memory on another system and the cpu n they work fine. The power supply is in order as i did the test with the paperclip as per previous posts on tomshardware. Im afraid that my board might be fried, ive also testes the voltage coming from the board on most connectors such as the usb, power and cpu fan connectors and the pci express slot and they read as per your post. How do i test the board physically and get it working, i dont mind buying another mobo but i wana save this as it is the first ive ever bought. Gigabyte ga-n650sli-dsrl

Lol yes. As per the forum, using the cables coming from the psu, place a paperclip in the green cable and the other end in a neighbouring black. This worked perfectly . it saved me from throwing my psu away for no reason lol.
