I wonder if my cpu would be on fire if i dont put gpu and i have 750W psu. BTW the gpu is coming soon so it wont be for long. Advises??

The system will draw as much power as it needs from that 750w, and the rest will just remain unused. It has nothing to do with cpu on fire.
You should be fine.
