Hello Guys! I'm new and i would like to ask about my monitor :)

When i boot my computer i always have to click on the power button on my TV or on the remote,how can my system automatically turn it on whenever i turn on my computer? thank you,im a girl and im trying to get around things with tech and stuff i got a new gaming rig 😀 would like to know alot from experts 😀

Welcome to the forum.

A dedicated PC monitor does turn itself on & off automatically when the PC is powered on/off. This is made possible by special hardware inside the monitor which causes it to go in to "Standby" mode when the graphics signal from the PC is turned off.

Very old monitors cannot do this, neither can some TV sets which are used as a PC monitor.
