Hey if anyone could help me i will appreciate it very much. I listened to newegg tech support and they said that i can install the cooler master without removing motherboard, which i found out i cant because 2 of the holes for the backplate are covered and arent in the opening on the back panel of my pc. Any suggestions? Also looking for info on any coolers that are as good if not better that DONT require a backplate. This is my PC setup except I installed a gtx 980

wow dude, I bet you paid way to much for that system but anyway you should just take the mobo out and do it right. aio's are really easy to install. I have the cooler master seidon and it was a breeze.

Ok thanks for the help. Im so nervous, Im a noob. I was nervous installing my GPU lol

Determine which motherboard you have. You need the name of the manufacturer and the model name. Then go to the manufactures website and get a copy of the manual used for installing that motherboard. You will need it for when you go to reattach some of the motherboards smaller cables like PWR_ON, RESET, HDD activity, etc.

You don't say which model of Cooler Master it is. I suggest you look up a YouTube video about the installation of it before proceeding any further. Even after building several computers myself, my first installation of a CM Hyper 212 HS/Fan was....confusing. Removing the motherboard and cables was the easy part.
