Recently I found a router and decided to make it an access point,I will connect it to the main router by an Ethernet cable in lan 1 input ,so can I connect my pc to that access point by another Ethernet cable in another input (2,3,etc..)
Thanks

Solution
Make and model of found router?

Make and model of your current network router?

Start with the following link to get a general understanding of what needs to be done.

https://www.tweaktown.com/guides/1575/using_an_old_router_as_a_diy_wireless_access_point/index.html

Then google for both router's User Guides/Manuals.

Lastly google for specific router/manufacturer tutorials explaining how to set up an access point.

The tutorials will likely include diagrams and specific instructions.

Pay attention to the Access Point's assigned static IP address.
