I kinda want to upgrade right now my pc.
i got an Fx6350
An Gtx960 strix
M5A78L-MLX3
Cooler Masters Extreme 2 725 power supply.
I kinda want to archieve play Battlefield 5 now and last aleast 5 years more, in the game market. tho im up to make some sacrifices or i should hold and saveup for more money?

Solution

i5 8400 will perform...

5 years old.. There is no evidence if even 1080Ti will be able to hold its own in 2023. Better thing to do is save up some more and buy 2080Ti on its release. And wait for 9 gen Intel CPU or Ryzen, but generally I suggest waiting. Maybe Intel will bring best price performance i5 ever. No one knows.

Hmm the thing is that i kinda have issues right now with the one i have, and i was thinking about getting a ryzen 5 or an I5
but still im lost

What issues?

The stuttering in siege would be on the CPU as it more CPU driven. An i5 would be a proper choice. For 720 you could probably get an i5 with a new mobo and ram and 1060 3gb. That would be a worth while upgrade

If he wants so of course.

Okay, so I went on PCPartpicker and made this PC:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wtFqNQ

It's a little bit over 720$ ($789.10)
But it has got more future proof GPU, you could save that 40$ and get away with 730-ish (but 3 GB of VRAM which isn't future proof at all, it is gamble actually) but I would stretch the budget a little bit and get 6 GB of VRAM cause it is WAY more future proof.

What about skipping the part of the GPU, untill i get more money would i be able to play games without worrying i mean, i dont want the graphics, tho i dont want it to look at a potato, i would be fine with my gtx 960 untill i can trow a bit more money on it? since one of my friends its pushing me to buy an Ryzen 2600x

i5 8400 will perform better in games, while 1060 6gb is enough for ultra @1080p but of course you can look for something used like 980Ti (1070 equivalent) or even used 1080/Ti. Or other option is to get some more money and but 1070/Ti/1080 (one of these gpus, note that ti is 1070ti)

Solution
