Hello, I have a high spec pc however i struggle to run games like overwatch

My specs are decent however i can barely even run overwatch on low settings

processor:intel i5 7th gen 3.0ghz
graphics card:nvidia gtx 1060
RAM:8GB

what do you mean by monitor plug into the gpu?
and my cpu always maxes out when i play the game for some reason

You may have a monitor output on your motherboard in addition to having it on your Geforce 1060.

If you plug your monitor into the computer there is a good chance it will use the integrated graphics on the cpu, Intel HD 630 if i remember correctly, which is much weaker than a Geforce 1060.

Does task manager show Overwatch using 80%+ cpu usage while playing or is it split with another process?

How is your ram usage while the game is lagging?

how do i make it use the nvidia instead, and yes any game i play always uses like 80% for some reason
