Hello (i have to apologize for my bad English )
I have a problem whit an ho z800 work station
And i m going to explan it
For several weeks i have been around forum looking for a solution but nothibg i find
The problem is the hp z800 star to shut down randomly about ine mount now but lately the shutdown like a power failure and don't start up after puching the start button it will star until the windows loding page and shut off , and some time it shut down almost immediately after tye funs stat to spin
I do evry thing that a can i chang the little batty on the motherboard cleaning the funs but nothing work

Pleas if eny one have an idea about what i have to do

No error messages before of after it shuts down? My first thought would be a dying power supply, but it could also be a dying motherboard.

Some time it boot and load windows and star for several minutes then it repeat the same
I just want to know what to do before buying eney thig else

No problem. Im not sure which it is. My best guess would be that its an issue with the psu. Can you read the label on the psu? Look for a brand name and model.

Thank again for your help it is a special psu made for the hp z800 series the name on the psu is delta electronics, INC
Model DPS-850DB A

Well delta is a decent psu brand, however if it is getting old it could be dying. I would start there, sorry I cant give you a clear answer on whether it is the psu or the motherboard causing your issue, I really dont know.

i just test my psu in another hp z800 and it work fin
my friend suspect that the electricity of the building that am in is to week to support the demand of the power he say that i have to buy an uninterruptible power supply

ps: after instaling the psu in my computer again it work fine now
