Hey guys my name is Thierry, and all the parts for my pc just came in today but I forgot to order a power supply for my NZXT S340 Elite Black and Red Case. My friend told me an ATX will work (not ATX 12v) but some say all power supplies will work? How many watts do I need if I have these PC specs and are they all compatible?

The Corsair RM650x is a good PSU. It's expensive, but it's one of the best out there. It's also one of the quietest in that class.

For a solid midrange option, consider the EVGA 550 G2. It's not as quiet as the RMx, but it's a quality component.

If that's more than you were expecting, the Seasonic S12G 550 is a solid pick on the budget end of the spectrum.

For that build, I second the RM650x. Any of the other PSUs mentioned will work. All of the details regarding compatibility and whether or not the PSU will fit have been considered for each PSU we've brought up.

If you had a compatibility issue, we would have mentioned it several times by now. SR-71 is extremely qualified. My credentials pale in comparison (as do the credentials of practically everyone else on this forum, including the other moderators).
