Hello need new psu any advices?

Hello first of all i was running

core 2 quad q8400 2.66 OC @ 3ghz
mobo: g41-vs3 r2.0
radeon hd 6970
ballistix sport 8gb ram
psu : some crap psu 450w lel...


now i have upgraded to

amd fx 6300
mobo : asrock 960-gvs3
radeon hd 6970
ballistix 16gb instead of 8gb

i still need new cpu

any good advices on which and how much should i get

Well you need to have your graphics card in. Only intel CPUs have integrated graphics and AMD APUs. The FX6300 does not however.
You need the ram to, but try just with 1 stick in. (4gb)

Try to reboot with your other PSU in, 1 4gb of ram and the graphics card.

wont that fry my motherboard? i dont want to risk it cause tomorrow im goign to pick up a new psu

well i have different things in mind i might get corsair cx600 and a new case like corsair or coolermaster or thermaltech and a new cpu cooler so i can oc my fx 6300 to 4.5 ghz or 4.4ghz

is the cx600 good for overclocking?

hello guys i upgraded to antec 620w high current gamer and i got new mobo and new cpu and new case and new liquid cooling (yay!)

i basically got

AMD FX6300 @ 3.5
ASrock 960GM-VGS3
Coolermaster Seidon 120V
Coolermaster K350
Ballistix 16gb rams

all installed and running...but whenever windows start up it shutdown by itself like the operating system do i have to format my pc?

I'm not sure you should be overclocking much if at all. It doesn't seem to be meant for it; it's a pretty old chipset with not very much VRM and no heatsinks.

Although not the best source of information, I read some reviews from retailers and the most I could find was "lightly overclocked"
