Hello, Please help me to upgrade hdd of my pc.

iam using hp dream screen 400 pc.I want to upgrade my pc hard disk drive.My pc has a preinstalled 2.5 inches 250 GB HDD with 7200 RPM clock speed. It have Ist generation Intel NM10 chipset with Ist generation 1.8 ghz atom dual core D525 processor.Can i install a 1TB HDD in it?

Basically there's no reason not to be able to upgrade your hard drive as long as it's 2.5" and the necessary height (9.5mm or 7mm - you'd have to check that in the user's manual for the computer). Other than that I'd recommend that you contact the computer manufacturer's customer support for suggestions on what drive to get. Usually there shouldn't be any issues with any drive that's 2.5", the necessary height and 1TB, but with OEM computers sometimes there might be some compatibility issues so it's best that you get a suggestion right from the source.

Well, I thought I've understood it, but it seems there was some sort of miscommunication, so no worries.
As for your question, I'm really not that familiar with this specific model. I know that a 2.2TB drive should be supported. Larger drives than that would not allow you to boot is you're using Windows.

It's best that you follow @jsmithepa's advice and contact the computer manufacturer's customer support and ask for further info.
