What has bigger chance to break a CPU or motherboard?I tried to replace my stock cooler with aftermark one.The thermal paste was like gluled so i pulled harder and ripped the CPU from the mothetboard. There was no visible damage on the CPU. I used magnetic screwdriver to put back the motherboard in the case. Then i connected all the wires and after i turned on the pc there was a problem. Every of the fans were spining gpu,cpu and the cooler fan , also the light was working but i the monitor is black . What has the bigger chance to be broken the cpu or the motherboard

Well, first its a bad idea to rip a cpu from a motherboard.. And, motherboards and magnets don't go together when you screwed it in with a magnetic screwdriver. But the cpu is more capable to break since it has so many fragile pins.

I didn't in purpose the cpu was stuck to the cooler. There are no broken pins or burnout.I tried taking my GPU and using the onboard gpu but the problem is still there.the power works the hard dtive and the fans spin but the minitor does not detect any dignel trough the cabel there for is black. But i am scared of the CPU. Using aftermark cooler and i didn't oc it.It was 32C and19-20C for the core.FX 6300 id the CPU and the mobo is 960 vgs3 fx a cheap motherboard. What are the chance for the CPU to be broken or the motherboard , because if it is the mobo I can easly change it but if it is the CPU ,.....,.i hope is not

If it doesnt detect anything, then it can either be the motherboard or the video card.
