Have you installed any applicable Insignia 50" monitor drivers (vs Generic PnP Monitor)?

What options are available via Advanced Display settings? Screenshot?

Did you try the desired resolution settings? What happened? Any pop-up windows with error messages or some other resolution/display related notifications?

Not sure if you "are good to go". Overall, seems to be so.

You need to delve into the supported configurations, screens, and menu options.

Start via the applicable documentation, etc..

More than likely it is that the lower resolution is the actual fit and the higher resolution is slightly stretched/skewed/letterboxed.

My Samsung 55" does this exact thing. It isn't anything to worry about. I use the lower resolution because I have had it make small artifacts, lines, and even strange fuzziness from time to time on the larger format. Also, when it skews, things will run off the screen that are supposed to be in view unless it goes to letterbox.
