Hello , I installed a new processor and a graphic card and now my pc won't boot Windows even with the original Windows cd inside , my components are :
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4800+
Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 210 512 MB
Won't boot how? Does it crash with a blue screen memory dump? Does it just not startup? Did you make sure the power supply can run the new components and that the CPU is compatible with the motherboard?
No Blue Screen , i Can see only the screen where you can go to the boot and go into bios , the processor is AMD Athlon 64 exactly like the one before only more powerful , my power supply can run up to 420 w
If you can go into the BIOS that means the CPU is OK. Any error messages come up? Did you check over the connections, maybe the hard drive got unplugged when you were working on the system.
No error message, it simply stops ant the end of the first screen. I unplugged the Hdd a couple of times and plugged it back in , it still won't boot ....
