So i have an intel i7 8700k gtx 1060 6gb

with 32gbs of ram at 3200mhz


and for some odd reason my gta 5 can't go max settings with a stable 60fps always dropping down to 50-40 fps

is there a fix or reason for this? as i can play MUCH newer titles on max settings at over 60fps even at 200fps sometimes

I am using max settings with direct 11 since faster loading but it seems to Lower my fps from about 125 to again 50-40
I use Direct 10 and it loads in about 3m and has wayy higher fps
But Direct 11 takes 30seconds to load in but put's my fps to 50-40
not tried Direct 10.1

Your graphics card is a huge bottleneck on that system.
Otherwise, you should be able to run over 60 fps.
Make sure you have these disabled:

• VSync
• Anti-Aliasing
• Post Processing

Try turning your shadow qualities to medium, shadows make a huge FPS difference in most games and look barely different unless on the lowest settings.
