un-install the blu-ray drivers, and re-install. also, did you get a new version of windows, for example 7 to 8?

Yes, I un-installed and then re-installed the bluray drivers and nothing chaged, as for windows I used the same windows that I had before (windows 7) did not perform upgrade of OS

huh, well does it show any lights, or do anything? double check the connections to it.

Yes, it actually shows lights and all that, It just cant show the content of the blu rays disc
