Well, I have come to the decision that I want to get back into PC gaming instead of paying for the rest of my PS4. So here is the breakdown. PS4 will be $400 starting, not to mention a couple of games for it which I am guessing @ around $60. Ill also need Playstation plus to play online $50.

My eyes caught an ad from Alienware saying they will take $200 off a x51 system unto which I do have a system to trade in. That being said they start @$700. Details are as listed for their base rig.

Intel I3-4130 w/3mb cache @ 3.40 Ghz
6 GB DDR3 @1600 Mhz
1TB Sata 64mb cache @ 7200 rpm
Nvidia Geforce GTX 645 1GB GDDR5
Dual layer burner
Keyboard and Mouse
Windows 7
Sweet ass casing

I also have a pretty nice budget build replicating the 650 budget system marathon build. I would personally like to think that this would be the superior build as it would seem it would be a while before I need to upgrade anything.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($69.99 @ Microcenter)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($42.98 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $652.91

I know that the opinions will be more towards the rigs than the console but the thing is my budget is only around 650 tops. I don't think an operating system will be a problem either way. I have the money ready to go for my monitor. I want to be playing games at a decent higher res i.e. Battlefield 4, call of duty, batman, etc. I would like to stay fairly close to that budget and have everything I need but if it isn't something that is achievable then I will just grab the console. I don't think the x51 has the room nor the capability to run SLI/Crossfire.

PS4 = $400 + 3 games @ $60 + Play Plus @ $50 = $630
X51 = $700 - $200(Console Discount) = $500
Custom Build = $652.91

Thanks for reading and I appreciate all answers good or bad. All this is coming from an "amateur" organized team counter-strike player. So I want a rig I can improve on easily when needed due to more demanding games. Thanx again!

Solution
for 2100RAM. Nothing to be honest. 1-3fps in games AT most. Nothing really noticeable. Unless it is THE SAME price, it isn't really worth it.

There will be no problems at all with an AMD CPU and an nVidia GPU. Brand mixing problems are 100% Myth.

This is BY FAR the best option.

What would happen if I opted for 2100 mhz ram? would it make much difference? I cought some on partspicker for around the same price different brand of course.

Also since I would be using an AMD processor will it conflict with my nvidia card?

Matter of fact is there any "cheaper" parts that I could swap out to maybe come out a little more budget friendly but still efficient?
