HELP! 100% RAM usage, 8GB of 2x4GB

Alright, so randomly I will get 100% RAM utilization. I check task manager, and it only shows me around 5GB of RAM being used looking through individual applications, and yet it still uses the full 8GB, which causes my computer to slow down and write to my SSD. If a game is running, it will crash. Only solution seems to be restarting the PC. When I looked under the performance tap, it told me 12.9 of 15.6GB of RAM was "committed." I don't know if that helps, just wanted to put it out there

Either it is malware or it is a memory leak. Search for memory leak specific to your system.
