Hi, I was increasing the clock on the 9700k and now stuck in a boot loop. I've now realised if I reset the bios I won't be able to use my 9700k any ideas??
Reset CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for about a minute (with the PC completely off and unplugged obviously).Sorry do you know how?
Why will resetting BIOS prevent you using the 9700K?Hi, I was increasing the clock on the 9700k and now stuck in a boot loop. I've now realised if I reset the bios I won't be able to use my 9700k any ideas??

Resetting the BIOS does not undo BIOS updates, it just defaults the settings. Just remove the CMOS for a minute and it will reset the BIOS to default settings.

I'd also power cycle the PC.Thanks didn't work however did answer the question. Any other idea's?
When I turn on it reboots after a second or 2 and keeps repeating. I only put out the unicore to the same value of my 5ghz over clock which had been working fine for weeks. It doesn't even display debug LED codes I'm guessing it's dead?I'd also power cycle the PC.
Shut down and unplug, hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then remove the CMOS for a few minutes. Then reinstall the CMOS battery and try to boot up again
What exactly happens when you try to boot?
