So basically i dont know alot about PC parts and i wanna upgrade my CPU from a i5 6400 2.70GHz to a i7. My question is which i7 should i get? I have a GTX 1070, I play alot of CS:GO, BO4, Rainbow 6 siege and a bit of fortnite. BTW i have a 144Hz monitor to i want a system to get around 150-200 FPS

Solution
The 6700 is a good option, depending on your board a BIOS update might also make a 7700 possible, but they are nearly the same so maybe stick with the safe option.

This is a list of all the CPU's that are compatible with your socket type. I would just select something in your budget assuming that your GPU is capable any of the i7's would be able to maintain a decent frame rate for 144Hz.

Edit: I didn't see the GTX 1070... yeah, any of the i7's would be capable of pushing what you are looking for.
