Help a about a CPU

Right now I am using a C2Q 8300 and should I upgrade to C2Q 6600?

I thought the 8300 was a slightly stronger cpu?

Well on some benchmarks they say the Q8300 is better and some say that Q6600 is better, and plus Q6600 is overclockable. Btw I see a lot of budget builds using the Q6600 and in lets say Fortnite I get like 30 to 40 fps while somehow Q6600 get 60 to 90 with 4 Gb of DDR2 RAM and the GTX 750 Ti, I have 4 GB DDR2 RAM and a R7 360 which is equal

Some games might favor Nvidia, some favor AMD. Never assume a certain AMD card is equal to a certain Nvidia card, or vice versa. It doesn't work that way.

Assuming you're running at 1080p, have you tried running at 720p? If you do, and you notice your framerate increases by a lot, that proves your 360 is what's slowing you down.

My MoBo supports up to Q9550 should I swap it with that?
