Hello Everyone,

I've never built a PC before. My mom was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and I decided that I wanted to built a gaming PC with my 14 year old brother to help him keep his mind off things. Kind of like a fun project to distract us when our mom is too tired to hang out with her family. I've been reading a lot, here are the parts I've come up with. I can spend about $3500 on this thing so I want to make it the best I can.

1. Corsair Graphite series 600T case
2. i7-4770k Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 CPU
3. (2x) GTX 780 ti GPU
4. GIGABYTE G.1 Sniper V LGA1150 motherboard
5. G. SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2x8gb) 240 pin
6. EVGA SuperNova 1000W Platinum PSU
7. Samsung 840 pro series 128gb SSD for OS
8. WD 1TB 10000RPM Hard Drive
9. Windows 8.1
10. Waiting until after CES to see monitor releases with G-Sync.

What do you think? What would you Change? Do these look compatible? Is it worth waiting for G-Sync? Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to this build!

Hi.
Sorry to hear about your mom:(
That is one serious gaming machine. One thing i noticed is that you haven't listed what cooling you will use on the CPU. Are you planning on using the stock cooler?

As for Gsync it's for you to decide. Only professional reviewers have had their chance to get their hands on these Gsync capable monitors so it's difficult at the moment what to advise.
You might want to read this article though
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_g_sync_review_guide,1.html

Also i put a 120gb SSD drive in my computer for the operating system and games but it quickly gets filled up. You might want to think about the 250gb model.
