Hey guys:

I've been toying around with the idea of building my own PC for a long time now. I've been hesitant (read: lazy) about it but to hell with it, I graduated with an engineering degree so surely I can slap some pieces together and call it good. HOWEVER.

I know jack **** about what all parts/etc. would be right for me, so that's why I'm hoping y'all can help me out. I just in general need an upgrade, but was hoping to build this PC with a little more gaming oomph, as I like to play Guild Wars 2 and my current PC really struggles with it sometimes.

So: Looking to run GW2 (and possibly other games) at good settings with solid frame rate, and I'll also need a new monitor, if you want to throw that in. I have a new keyboard/mouse that I bought on a deal a while back. I have in mind a budget of $1000-$1200, but I can go higher if it's something that will really provide a big benefit and/or will help future-proof the build a bit. Probably don't wanna go over something like 1500. Keep in mind I'm pretty unfamiliar with stuff like overclocking and whatnot, so if that's something that needs to be done I'll have to figure it out.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey friend, you headed to the right place, I will let you build best gaming PC for a really amazing price:

2- You need a high performance and as we all know Intel Core i7 is the best processor for everything and this model is the best of i7 http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-4790K-Processor-Cache-BX80646I74790K/dp/B00KPRWAX8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416790300&sr=8-1&keywords=core+i7

All that PRO GAMING PC for only 610$

BE CAREFUL TO BUY THESE PARTS ! ENJOY VERY SMOOTH GAMING EXPERIENCE 😀

as stated, you could get more than enough for that game for half of your budget. $1500 could get you a very nice machine that will max that game as well as most current games on the market. would you rather save the money and just get what you need, or, fill the budget and get a decent rig that will run current games as well?

I didn't think it would be that little to run GW2 well, haha. I'm not a heavy computer gamer, but I would be interested in more games if I knew my PC could run them. So, I could stick with the original budget for sure. Plus I figured now would be as good of a time as any to splurge a bit due to all the Black Friday sales and whatnot. Get more bang for my buck.

it might be a bit overpriced, but that's pretty solid. the only place it's unbalanced is the video card it has. a gt 740 is a step up from integrated graphics but thats about it. it will likely struggle with a 1080p monitor (which is what you'll want in order to take advantage of the bluray)

something like this would kill that system. it's meant to be overclocked if you want to go that route.

I actually bought a monitor yesterday on a sweet deal, so I'll knock that off but I'll check this out. If I don't want to mess around with overclocking would this system still be really good or would there be a better option?
