Looking for a budget around 1k for some gaming and work. Mainly gaming. So far ive been looking into these 2 rigs. Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated. Which would you choose? if none, is there a prebuilt you could recommend. I want to play max out on all 1080 and maybe play some 1440. THANKS

those prebuid systems are not worth it , you will rarely get good quality in this price range .
they come with low quality motherboard , case and power supply (which often are hard to replace)
also 8GB of VRAM and 16gb of system memory is barely enough and is
slowly becoming obsolete for high/ultra pc gaming .
if you want your system to last at least a few years you need 2x16gb of system memory and
video card with at least 12gb of VRAM
it would be much better if you could find a retailer where you can pick your own parts and
have them build it for you from selected parts for 50 bucks or so .
for inspiration for roughly 1K you can have this:

Learn how to build your own PC. Prebuilts and low budget do not mix.

You buy prebuilts because you can pay extra for the building labor. It's like paying a valet to park your car instead of parking it yourself. You pay for the labor.

I mean, you can buy a prebuilt with low budget, but you can also either build a significantly more powerful system for the same price or build a comparable system for significantly cheaper price, saving you money.
