Help about bottlenecking

So I’m gonnna be building a pc and the cpu is a AMD ryzen 5 2400g, later when I want to add a GPU, would a 1080 Ti bottleneck or would I need a lower one? Thank you

Depends on the game and resolution. I'd say for the most part the CPU won't saturate the GPU at 1920x1080 on most games, at 2560x1440 that'll still be true just not on quite as many and at triple 1920x1080 or 4K the CPU can saturate the GPU on most AAA titles.

Although it seems absurd to use a 1080 Ti with a 2400g. A GTX 1060 6GB or 1070 is more appropriate.
