HELP!-Ambit U10C018.80

I have a Ambit U10C018.80 internet modem. When I try to connect to it wirelessly via Xbox 360 and iPod Touch and it shows up as it's name "Scotts Diner", but when I select it, the screen says "Unable to connect to Scotts Diner". I would like to know how to connect to it wirelessly.

That modem isn't "wireless" by itself, you need a router. As you stated your devices are seeing a router near you that someone named "Scott's Diner", which could be a neighbor or business within range. You need to get a cheap wireless router from walmart or geeks.com, or newegg.com and you can then get connected wirelessly from your ambit modem.
