Heya,
Its getting colder here in the morning, so a remote start system is looking more and more like a good idea as the days drag on. The only problem is I really have no clue what I am shopping for.
I have done a little bit of research, And will probably end up going to service shop somewhere to have it installed. I have a budget of around 400$ cnd (including shop time for the install) am looking for some advice on what Systems preform well at an affordable price point. Would hope to have a 2way system, But nothing overly fancy is need.
Vehical Specs,
2002 Honda Accord Coupe SE,
4cyl FW Drive engine
Stock Sound System/ Deck/ Car alarm
Auto Door locks /Alarm /Trunk on Keychain FOB
Anyone have a recommendation, advice, or general knowledge that I Should know before I start asking around locally? I am terrible at real life so the more knowledgeable I am the better. If you can, please include Systems, Model Numbers, personal experiences, and Adapters or wiring harnesses, any hidden costs I may not see in a local shop right off the bat.
It does have some silly anti theft thing where a code is required to start the electronics if the battery has been disconnected - Will this pose a problem?
Thanks,
Anarchistrise
