I am new to this, with novice knowledge of building a PC. I know and understand parts, but have yet had the experience of building the PC. I was hoping I could get some suggestions on how this build is? I went to CyberPowerPC and configured a system I wanted, and just copied the parts. Sure I can buy it from them, but I wanted to build it myself for the joy of the task and to save on the labor cost. So, what do you guys think? Did I miss anything? Need more of something? Etc. Please keep comments kind and helping.

you did a double post.

1; fx sucks for games
2: you dont need that much ram
3; my motherboard has a wifi card if you need one
4: you dont need that much wattage
5; you dont have a SSD which means your rig wont feel very fast
6:the d14 cooler cools better and quieter
7; lol you dont need that many fans

1; fx sucks for games - what do you reccomend?

2: you dont need that much ram - How much do you suggest? 8GB?

3; my motherboard has a wifi card if you need one - How Much?

4: you dont need that much wattage - Would 850W be a better option?

5; you dont have a SSD which means your rig wont feel very fast - What exactly is SSD? New to that one.

6:the d14 cooler cools better and quieter - I will get that one :)

7; lol you dont need that many fans - Lol I will take out some!

What you posted in the link is something you built? I am not entirely interested in that built, thus why I am here to get sugggestions for my build. I do not want an intel i5 I prefer AMD. Thank you for letting me know I will save sticking with 8GB and a lower power supply. I do plan on building it myself, thus the reason for the post. One last question for you, is the SSD on the Ram, e.g. "8GB kinston SSD RAM". Sorry for the noob questions, but thats why I am here...

The link he posted isn't something he built.. technically. It's a more convenient way of showing people who come here the stuff we suggest for their builds.
SSD and RAM are different things. SSD is a storage device like an HDD. There are more differences but I can't post them all right now.

As far as I know, the best gaming CPU from AMD at the moment is the Phenom X4 965, which isn't very high end. Don't get me wrong, I love AMD, but they are very behind on CPU technology compared to Intel. If ever they get to make a CPU though that can (at least) compete with the i5, I would definitely buy it.

Between the GTX 670 and the 7970, I would definitely go for the 7970. Just make sure you get the GHz edition.

well time to explain,

if a intel pentium g630 is on par with a fx 8150 in games, i really dont see the point of picking a AMD chip over a intel chip that costs just as much. if you want to though, you could later on pick the fx 8350 but there are no promises for it to perform anywhere near a i5.

8gb of ram just just 8gb of ram. just grab the set i suggested

a SSD is a solid state drive. its completely different from ram. the vertex 4 is my recommendation

yeah but some people prefer the nvidia side given it has 3d physx (borderlands) and a bunch of other perks that amd cards dont enjoy.

I thank you for the support so far guys, and appreciate all the help. You have made me rething my config (I came here for suggestions and help, so I expected it, lol). If I am to go with intel I would want the i7 over i5. Whats a great graphics card to replace the AMD with?

No, I was never buying a prebuilt. I am wanting to build it myself, though I am worried I may be unable to do so properly.

Also, is a 256GB enough to store a good amount of files?

So based on the information I have gained from you guys, I redid my configuration. What do you think about this build?

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I want this build for high end gaming, ultra graphics on top games (or close) but I also will have things on it like documents and other minor software. I plan to have 3-4 games installed at all times. How does this build look to you? How is the graphics card? And motherboard?

Also, how difficult is to build a PC? Since there are clearly no instructions and I am new would I be able to figure it out without damaging parts?

Thats a lift up on my hopes! Thank you, I think I understand fairly well how parts and softwares work. It is more of the plug this there and that here, type of thing, that has me worried about building it myself. Primarily getting the exact part I need. As everyone who builds a PC needs different parts for their own builds, and a tutorial can only show what they are doing :(.
