Hi, I'm looking for the best 24" monitor I can get for PS4 and PC gaming. I have a budget of about £150 or if there is a better monitor which is worth more then please link as I am not in a rush to buy and can save money for better quality.

The PS4 runs on 60hz when gaming? So I need a monitor which can be switched to 60hz? And for PC it would be 120hz/144hz when gaming on the pc?

It must include:
Speakers built in (sound in general)
HDMI Input? (for ps4 and pc in full hd)
Audio input? (so I can connect my pc audio to the monitor?)
144/120hz+60hz switchable?

Solution
BenQ XL2411Z (£221)

The PS4 runs on 60hz when gaming?
=> Yes
So I need a monitor which can be switched to 60hz?
=> You can adjust through supporting software like NVIDIA Control Panel
And for PC it would be 120hz/144hz when gaming on the pc?
=> Yes
Speakers built in (sound in general)
=> Only problem for XL2411Z is that it doesn't have built-in speaker
HDMI Input? (for ps4 and pc in full hd) / Audio input? (so I can connect my pc audio to the monitor?)
=> D-sub / DVI-DL / HDMI / headphone jack
144/120hz+60hz switchable?
=> Yes(through software)

I see that would be another good monitor but doesn't have built in speakers. Thank you for the suggestion. What do you think about the Asus VG248QE or would it not be good for gaming? As that is what I will mostly be using it for.

Well going to be using headphones most of the time so I'm wanting built in speakers to my monitor. Need the speakers to use for my ps4 aswell as pc and don't want to be messing around with lots of wires.

At the moment best I've seen is the Asus or maybe Benq but some of them aren't what I'm looking for. I'll try and have a look at Benq and some others but if there is no better I'll probably go for the ASUS.

Also I currently use a 17" Sony which has about 16ms and isn't that good but it has built in speakers which is the only reason I like it. Wanting a good 24" upgrade

Thanks for the help. Still unsure what to get. At the moment I have been thinking about BenQ xl2420z but there's so many to choose from. I am not too bothered about sound just quality.

If I could test each monitor to see what they are like that would be great but I have no way of doing that as my local shops don't have ASUS/BenQ monitors.

Either way I will be going for BenQ or ASUS. There is a 2nd hand xl2420z for £130 which I may buy but I need to see if it has been firmware upgraded to v2. If it hasn't then I will end up getting a different monitor.

I am currently buying 1 off Gumtree and 2nd hand ones are going for around £50-200. So I may end up going for the cheapest one as I will save money for whatever else I need.
