I'm sure similar topics have come up and I apologize if this is a repeat of other's issues. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting methods already so I'm seeking advice so I can finally pinpoint my issue.
A couple months ago I purchased a prebuilt system for my wife and it ran great, until a week later it decided to not send any display to the monitor. Also her LED keyboard and mouse light up when the system is off. I connected it to mine and got a signal, so I went throught steps to get it to work and it did... for a few days. It started acting up again (no signal) doing the same thing only this time it would sometimes boot into the bios menu strait away and have video... Until exiting bios, then no video.
I practically dismantled the entire system and verified all connections were firm and then it worked for a month with no issues, but now it's become worse than before. It seems as if it won't load the bios, won't load windows, and just sits at a black screen.
I just tried resetting the cmos by removing the battery and waiting for nearly an hour... Still nothing. Please help! I'm desperate to fix this for my wife and I don't want to try to return/replace it if I can avoid it.
