Today, I bought a second had laptop which is the Hypa Play 14 from a respectable second hand shop in the UK (CEX). Stupidly, I must have caught something in bios when looking at the bios (memory) and it won't come on. I've taken it apart, messed with the laptop battery by taking it in and out (removable internally) and nothing. Bios and memory are welded in.

All it does is "blink" when you put the power button on and just go on and off. I even put a USB stick in, no joy. Flashes on and off. No display at all.

Is there anyway I can revive this laptop as I have barely had it a few hours?

Thank you. I think what was set was a memory issue in bios (I think it was to deal with the default setting). Ironically, everything was working fine up until that point. Motherboards for said laptop are affordable, so there is that.

I've managed to find what Bios it uses. I've left it to run without battery, but again flashing on and off even with USB.

If you can access the internals of the laptop, you might find the CMOS battery (a round small battery). First disconnect your laptops battery and then remove the CMOS battery. After that, wait for about 10 Seconds, and then put it back in. You'll now be able to put the laptop back together and plug your laptops battery in as well.

Power on the laptop and see if it fixed it.

if not, as others said, its an issue with the laptop. What we've done in the above steps are to reset the BIOS, so any changes made will be defaulted.

GL :)

Thank you for all your responses. I took apart the laptop, and managed to remove the battery. Luckily, it's working! However there are issues with the driver for the wifi. No ethernet connection port, so I can't access that way. It happened with a driver update which just set it all back.
