Hello, so I got a new Cpu to upgrade from my 2600 and it didnt go as planned. The Cpu cooler I use for both of these is NH-L9i chromax.black. The specs, for the case its the phanteks P400s, Gpu 6650 xt, Motherboard its the B450 tomahawk, 32 gigs of rams 3200mhz. While idle the 5600x gets to around 66-77c while the 2600 same pc and Cpu cooler gets 30-50c idle. Lastly the ambient temp is about 21c. Do y'all have any ideas to help an Amd user out.

Did you just recently install the new CPU?
I think you have to wait a bit for the thermal paste to settle on the CPU before you get reliable temps, is the CPU cooler new or from your previous build, make sure you cleaned all the thermal paste off before applying new thermal paste.

Also, ensure that the CPU cooler is properly fitting into the motherboard, I once hadn't tightned the cooler in properly and was wondering why my temps were so high, turned out the metal plate was not fully touching the CPU :D Temps were normal after ensuring it was properly fitted.
