HELP, Broke Pedestal in Lannae's Tomb

I bashed the pedestal for the Gem of Honor, now can't complete the quest.
Is'nt this where a Word of Power is?

If you are in the dungeon with the succubus, no there was no word of power
there. I bashed the pedestal, too, and there does not seem to be a way to
complete the quest when you do that. I just played the whole area over
again without bashing it.

I don't mean to be critical, but this cracks me up. Why would you
have bashed the pedestal? Just curious what I'm missing as I can't
say I ever even remotely thought of doing that in that particular
situation.

Well, you know how the mood of the game is...destroy, destroy, destroy.
But in this case I was thinking about the sanctuary of that ratman in
Luscan...where you have to destroy the holy structures to succeed with the
mission.

Yeah, I thought of that. There's definitely precendence for bashing
things like that. However, in those other situations, there was
always something trying to kill you but those were just standing there
minding their own business, so I guess I looked for peaceful solutions
first. I was actually pretty surprised you could bash them. I
figured you'd only be able to destroy things you were supposed to
destroy. Guess I never tried it.
