Help! Bronze tape protruding out my speaker driver!

Hey guys, I got a replacement from logitech recently and I noticed some bronze tape thing sticking out my drivers for some reason. I don't know what it is or if it's an issue, here's a link to the pic. I'd like a pro opinion on it before I return it and wait forever on another replacement. It looks like rust but isn't, it's hard to see, but it's kind of an electrical tape thing.

voice coil, ive seent that happen on lots in vids on utube, its nothign serious since it wont protude out more.
