HELP browser broken...

not working for a while now and i’m Mad. I tried reset my laptop still didn’t fix. when I go on browser and search something it shows like the page with the results but when I click on the page it doesn’t work and it says page not secure. also my Ethernet stopped working randomly a few months ago and that’s when I started to notice that the browsers weren’t my working. one time I was searching something and I saw akamadhi or something MEng in the corner and I know that was a virus because I had it before so I reset my laptop but the issue isn’t fixed. Browser has been broken for months but when Black Friday and CyberMonday were on it worked...? but now It stopped working again and I’m frustrated. Also I know my WIFI works because I used to play games online with people. but I reset my computer now my browsers don’t work and I can’t download anything so my laptop is not working and I kinda want to grab a hammer and smash it to piece. Please help ASAP.

What version of windows is installed? And what browser do you use?? Because XP and Vista no longer work with some / or most browsers now

thanks for taking your time to help me, I’m on Windows 10 and before I reset my laptop I usually used Google Chrome, but other browsers like Internet Explore, FireFox, Microsoft Edge seemed to not work. Since I reset my laptop I’m currently stuck with Internet Explore.
