Hi,
I recently had a new computer built (completely new to the process) and started it up. It was running just fine, for 15-20 minutes, but then I started getting repeated BSOD error messages with minimal activity. Seeing as how the computer is brand new I've only installed a video card driver as well as software that came with the Gigabyte (z77-DS3H)MOBO cd.

System Specs:
processor: intel core i7
Video card: Geforce 660
RAM: 32 gig (2x8) (corsair vengeance)

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA8010457028
BCP3: 00000000B2000000
BCP4: 0000000081000402
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

C:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-28282-0.sysdata.xml

I've run MDSCHED and CHKDSK /R without errors.

I'm out of ideas but to send it into best buy's geek squad PLEASE HELP! Thanks

Hey are you sure its as simple as cleaning and updating the drivers? I updated the nividia graphics card and i'm pretty sure the mobo / bios are up to date and it was running a lot smoother at first, but now its crashing again

i'll try that now.. out of curousity.. I called staples and they said for people who build comps a common error they see is overheating.. my TOWER says the CPU is 30oC, however in my bios it reads it as 96oC always.. is this possible? the fan is working :S

did a full windows install and tried to update video drivers and it happened again.. just going to go take it into a shop i think it might be faulty hardware or maybe even a compatability issue..
