Greetings!
I want to apologize if there's a thread already with the same problems i have, i was looking for it, but i just couldn't find the proper solution, so i hope you might be able to help me.
I've bought a new components for my PC 2 months ago and my friend who has a lot of experience in building PCs helped me build the my PC:
Here is the list of the components:
- CPU Intel Core i5 4460 (3.20Ghz)
- MBO 1150 ASUS H81M-K
- HDD 1TB 7200rpm, SATA 6GB/s 64MB cache, ST1000DM003
- Corsair VS550 PSU 550W, ATX
- Patriot Signature, 1333Mhz 8GB (1x8GB)
- LG DVD GH24NSD1 SATA Bulk Black
- Graphics : Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming OC 4GB DDR5
First time i was installing the system i had dual boot Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10 64-bit, because my father uses Windows 7 and i am using Windows 10, because i don't want him to mess with my files and he doesn't want me to mess with his.
But the problem was that, whenever i tried to Boot to Windows 7 again, the disk-check was there running and showing errors and after that it booted normally to Windows 7. Also when me and my father wanted to play games, we got BSOD coming showing error about Geforce Experience and it rebooted automatically...
Some of my games i have on steam (like L4D2 or CSGO) files went corrupted and i couldn't join servers or play them i had to verify integrity of the game cache all the time
At first i thought it was a problem glitching between the both Windows 10 And Windows 7 system files so i Formated HDD and installed only Windows 7 64bit i wanted to see how is it going to work.
After when i installed all the latest drivers i could find for my hardware and my programs and some games, i noticed that BSOD came in again but this time it was about

The BSOD came in daily and no matter what i did it was always coming randomly, if i played games, doing my stuff in Photoshop or After Effects or sometimes watching Youtube ...
i was looking for solutions over the internet, spent days and i've read it could be my hardware or drivers that could cause that problem so i decided to put my hardware on test and to see if it's HDD or even RAM or something
I've looked for my components if they were overheating while i play or some heavy work on pc,
CPU temp was maximum of 60°C
GPU was around 68°C
and everything seems to be normal by that
so i went to check my HDD first, because i doubt it might be that piece of hardware that could cause fault i downloaded some SeaTools to check it out results were all good
SMART Check Passed
Short Generic Passed
Long Generic Passed
Short DST Passed
to be sure i downloaded tools from Western Digital and it also passed all the tests
now i wanted to test RAM memory i switched to Windows Memory Diagnostic, it said no errors were found, but i read on the internet that i should download Memtest86 and i did so i ran check on that to see if it's gonna work
First time i did and it showed 5 errors
Then i turned off my PC and put my RAM into another RAM Slot and ran it again i also got 5 errors here are the screenshots:
I read people say on internet that this errors are because my CPU was used when the test was run and that it's better to download and use Memtest86+ ... and so i did
i ran it twice and i also got some errors like this, and then i stopped after 4 hours even tho on screenshot it says that it was 32 minutes :S ....
....Now i am not quiet sure ... and my problem is that i got confused i dunno what to do or what the problem is ...
1. Is it my RAM memory that's broken?
2. Is it my CPU messed up?
3. How do i fix that (if there is a way ofc)?
4. Is there that might be any other hardware that causes that kind of issues, if there is how can i check them?
I sadly have no other friends that can help me with switching components so i can test them out :/ and i don't feel like RMAing all of my components if i don't have to, if i can check if they work properly that is.
Thanks in advance!
