Both CPUs do include a cooler but I added an excellent budget one to the Ryzen build. This cooler works better than the included ones from Intel or AMD and will make things quieter on the system overall. The RX6600 is MUCH faster than the RTX 3050 and cheaper. Overall the 6600 is closer in performance to the RTX 3060. The PSU you had used is low quality. The Corsair RM650x is a high quality PSU and has room to get more powerful GPU or CPU or both in the future.

I wouldn't spend more on a 6650xt, to sacrifice being stuck with 16gb ram. The differences are too minor.

I would argue the extra 8% gpu performance is better than the extra 16gb of ram in a gaming PC. Could also just spend the extra 10-15 dollars a get both. like so:

Could also get an RX6700 for only $20 more than the 6650XT. That would be another 10% faster in 1080p Ultra and 2GB more VRAM.

As cheap as ddr4 is you might as well go 32gb. I think I’d consider the Intel build even if going with a 12400 just because 13th generation is out and you’d have another cpu upgrade you could drop in.

If you wanted to save a bit was looking at eBay and found this looks like it’s a refurbished unit sold by asus. 5700xt for 175 bucks. Might be worth considering if it lets you upgrade other pieces since it’s probably between the 6600 and 6600xt.
