Help building a decent gaming computer

I'm kinda new to building a computer and was wondering if this build looks ok for a decent gaming computer.
My budget is set to about 600.
CPU:FX-6300
Motherboard:GA-990FXA-UD3 Gigabyte
Ram:Kingston Hyper X Blu (2 X 4gb)
Hard Drive:Seagate Barracuda 1TB
GPU:EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti 2gb GDDR5
Power Supply:Corsair CX600
Optical Drive:ASUS DRW-24B1ST

Pretty good. I just disagree with AMD CPUs, because they are like false advertised. A six core AMD is not the same as a 6 core Intel CPU.

So I kinda updated a build with a much better processor.
