Help building a gaming computer $1,000-1,250

Well, i'm not looking for a build... Just give me tips on what to buy? Like what to look for in a motherboard. I mean i'm planning to buy from new egg but since i'm waiting for black friday there is no possible way of getting help on the forums so recommendations on what to look for Thanks!

There's a lot of motherboards and it really depends on your budget but I think you can get away with a cheap $400 dollar build.

Look for H61 or B75 Motherboards.

well, you won't need 1200 to play those games. basically a motherboard. Make sure it's the right socket type, has enough pcie slots for your needs. Make sure it has enough sata connectors. Basically make sure it has enough to fulfill your needs for connections, and leaves room for upgrades in the future.

I know that it is no fun saving that much money and then realizing you shouldn't spend it. But that is seriously all you need. Maybe get a 7850. But that is it.

True True. No, he would only need a 7770. I've played GW2 and even a 6670 could play it very well.

Yeah, I agree with you though a 7850 would be great especially considering his budget. Then again, when I saw Warcraft III. I was like.... 7750!!! haha

Hi, if you want to be future proof then buy the 7850 now.

Although, the games you are planning to play are not very intensive games so the 7770 would be able to handle it smoothly.

Hi, every game you listed right now won't have any problems running at max. Outdated, it really depends but by the way things are looking right now. It would take 3 to 5 years before it really becomes outdated. Best get the 7850 now.

I would wait for the STEAM Sales. i really can't recommend anything right now as I haven't played anything in a while. Max Payne 3 is supposed to be good.

It seems that we were wrong about the 7850. It seems it has problems with WoW which I didn't know about until a fellow poster said so. I hope that this reaches you! A 7770 or 660 would be best.
