Help building a PC

My brother is looking for a computer just for daily use, he doesn't game at all. He does a lot of fantasy sports and wants to build algorithm lineups really fast, but his cpu is slow for doing that. He also would like a lot of storage as well.
Only thing else he needs is excel. Can someone help find me a build between 300-450? I will be building it for him as well.

RAM: 16(2x8)GB 3000mhz Corsair Vengeance
MB: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

The above build with 16gb RAM. Excel can consume huge amounts of RAM and going from 8gb to 16gb can make a big difference in calculations as it reduces the caching to the SSD/HDD.

just trying to help my brother save some cash and build him a computer that can handle what he needs so he can build algorithm lineups fast without having his computer struggle on it

It's arround 400£. I choose MicroATX case but you can change. Intel for gaming ex. I5 8400 has 6 threads. You should build with AMD for render, Excel etc.

thanks for that, as of right now it will cost $514 without shipping.. may try to find something a little bit cheaper if i can
