Help building an old PC using server parts of ebay

So I recently saw this video

Basically you use old 6 cores on ebay for cheap.

Now i dont know much about this so could someone help me decide which cpu and mobo to get?
I have also heard that server mobos can be complicated, not having some of the stuff normal consumer boards have. When finding a mobo try and find one that can fit in a normal case and isnt missing any crucial features.

looking for the cheapest possible combo that is at least as good as the x5460 mentioned in the video.

there's an easier way around this, with a simple mod you can get lga 771 cpus to fit into lga 775 motherboards you just have to make sure the motherboard supports 8gb ram I've linked a YouTube video with what you'll need to do. also a good cpu for this is the x5460, but to get the best performance out of it you have to overclock. I know that the vid you watched is using the lga 1366 socket but there's more value in the 771-775 ones.
