so im looking into buying/building a new computer. it will primary be used to game, music, stream movies, and simple programs.
games i'd like to run - diablo 3, bf3, metro2033, farcry3, red orcrastra 2, serious sam 3... ect
settings - ultra\high framerate - around 60 resolution - 1920x1080
(1 monitor)
i have upgraded a pre-built system before but never crafted one from scratch, so i'm pretty new at some things. this is a build i've come up with and i'd like any advice you might want to give. i am kinda partial to nvida just because I've always used them and know that they are very reliable, i also love being able to use the control center since some games don't give you all the options it allows for.
case - Cooler Master HAF XM System Cabinet
cpu - 3rd Gen Intel® Core i7 I7-3770K 3.5Ghz
HS - Cooler Master GeminII S524 Cooling Fan/Heatsink
MB- Asus P8Z77-M PRO Desktop Motherboard - Intel Z77 Express Chipset - Socket H2 LGA-1155
psu - PSA850TXCORSAIR - Corsair TX850W ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply 850W (guessing this is to much but i wan't sure)
ram - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz DDR3 (8Gx2)
hd - Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB Internal Hard Drive
sdd - Crucial 128 GB Internal Solid State Drive
video - asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card 2x
cd - LG 24x DVDRW Super Multi Drive
os - WINDOWS 7 Home Prem 64 Bit
so this is what im looking at so far. as far as the i7 goes, i know a lot of people go for the i5, but i'd like to be able to listen to music or let a video buffer in the background while i'm running games. i thought it would be better in that case to upgrade but let me know if you think different. i also like to mess around in things like the creation kit(besthesda/skyrim) and others like it.
again this is what i'm looking into getting but before i went out and spent the money i'd like some advice on anything i could do better or more cost effectively. thanks in advance.
