Hey there.
So i got a friend that suggested me the following parts;

MOBO:
ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI Bundkort - AMD B650 - AMD AM5 socket - DDR5 RAM - ATX
https://www.proshop.dk/Bundkort/ASU...-AMD-B650-AMD-AM5-socket-DDR5-RAM-ATX/3109179

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU - 8 kerner - 4.7 GHz - AMD AM5 - AMD Boxed (uden køler)
https://www.proshop.dk/CPU/AMD-Ryze...-47-GHz-AMD-AM5-AMD-Boxed-uden-koeler/3310690

CPU AIO:
Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX XT - Black - CPU Vandkøling - Max 34 dBA
https://www.proshop.dk/CPU-Koeler/C...X-XT-Black-CPU-Vandkoeling-Max-34-dBA/3135960

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 - 64GB - CL30 - Dual Channel (2 pcs) - AMD EXPO & Intel XMP - Grå med RGB
https://www.proshop.dk/RAM/Corsair-...2-pcs-AMD-EXPO-Intel-XMP-Graa-med-RGB/3170546

GPU:
ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 DUAL EVO OC - 8GB GDDR6 RAM - Grafikkort

PSU:
Corsair RMe Series RM850e (2025) Strømforsyning - 850 Watt - 120 mm - ATX 3.1 - 80 Plus Gold certified
https://www.proshop.dk/Stroemforsyn...-120-mm-ATX-31-80-Plus-Gold-certified/3324408

SSD:
Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD - 1TB - M.2 2280 - PCIe 4.0
https://www.proshop.dk/SSD/Samsung-990-EVO-Plus-SSD-1TB-M2-2280-PCIe-40/3303620

CASE:
Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW TG - Black - Kabinet - Miditower - Sort
https://www.proshop.dk/Kabinet/Corsair-4000D-AIRFLOW-TG-Black-Kabinet-Miditower-Sort/2870983

I bought the case, ssd and psu so far, but had plans on buying the remaining today.
He did mention if i could squeeze the money out he’d suggest going for a 5060 Ti 16GB instead of the 4060 8GB.

Issue is now that i asked another friend what he think about it and he’s just like “don’t do it.”
He mentions top end cpu with mid gpu might cause bottlenecks and stutters in game which is something i don’t want.

So i was hoping to hear suggestions / help on parts that would fit the budget of around 2.1k$.

We ask users to stylize their threads with info as in this thread;
so it helps give us context, following that people chime in with informed decisions for you to take.

To add, PCPartPicker does have an option for Denmark in it's drop down menu for regions;

In all honesty, you might want to stick with the RTX5070 and not go below that or go with AMD's equivalent, which is the RX 9070/RX 9070XT.

Well, the saying goes, ask first, then go buy. Not the other way around.

Be aware that your motherboard chipset is not native to 9xxx, it is to 7xxx. Be sure that it has a BIOS flash option without the CPU/RAM installed or that it is "new" enough to have a BIOS revision from the manufacturer. Otherwise, you may need a 7xxx CPU to flash BIOS so the 9xxx will work.

These details should be in the motherboard manufacturer's support page.

I would call that a very unbalanced build. CPU is great, GPU is basically as low as you can go and still call it a gaming PC.

That motherboard does indeed have a flashback option.

850W PSU is overkill for a 4060. Maybe 200W all in under a gaming load.

About 12.000Kr

And how is that builds performance vs the one my friend suggested? I wanna have the best possible with my budget.
Thank you for taking time to look for a build, appreciate it. *appreciate the other replies too!

RTX 4060 8GB -> RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
The GPU is larger, not much to say there, it is more capable and generates a higher frame rate under the same conditions. 16GB VRAM will allow you to run higher settings without compromise.

2TB SSD is larger, more games can be installed before you need to install a second drive.

9700X is an 8 core CPU like the 9800X3D, but lacks the 3D cache. Now this is a performance decrease, but the cost savings went directly into the GPU for better gaming performance today.

CPU sets the maximum possible frame rate. GPU sets the maximum level resolution and level of detail. If the goal is 500 FPS at 1080p low settings you want as much CPU as possible, if your goal is 1440p at high settings, you want as much GPU as possible. The suggestions to compromise the CPU further for an RTX 5070 are somewhat applicable if you are wanting detail over FPS. Many people prefer that as they play single player titles.

Reasonably priced chassis and power supply and reasonable cooling.

Benefit of this setup is that a future AM5 CPU upgrade is still a possibility. Meaning that if your priorities change you can always sell the 9700X and get the next generation of AM5 CPUs when it comes out.
