Help buy a G-card

Specs:
core2duo 2.8 E7400(Intel) with a 3GB ram DDR2
Gigabyte Motherboard
G31
19" Samsung

all the new games that i buy are giving me serious LAG issues, so ....

I have a 9500GT 512 and need to upgrade .. i have listed a few that may work for me but I'm having a hard time, choosing the rite one and not sure if all would work fine with my specs.

HD4770
GTS 250
HD 4850
HD4870/90
HD 5770

Also once i upgrade can i play direct x11 games??

Between those HD 4890 is the fastest choice, but go with 5770 because the difference isn't much;furthermore, 5770 supports newer techs(such as DX11),runs cooler,quieter and also has less power consumption.
And yes if you get a DX11 card(which only 5770 is DX11 from your list),you can play DX11 titles.

Instead of searching for GTS 250 you may search for the GTX 460 fermi it's priced slightly above the 250.The 460 is faster latest in tech and DX 11 ready.
But at present u will see no performance difference on games between DX(10/10.1 and 11) labeled cards regarding directX.

but these Gcards you guys are suggesting HD4890/5770 GTX460 are they compatible with my specs... will they run without any issues??

Can't tell about the 4890 but if you have like a 450W PSU in your system then it will run the other two cards just fine.And about ram its better if you keep minimum 4GB(having shared 1GB with graphics and 3GB for system).

At that price hd 4850 is the best card you can buy for Rs.7000.

its exceeding the budget limit.Then toh he will be getting his dx 11 ready GTX 460 around Rs.8000.
