help call of duty black ops 2 wont play

when i try loading it from steam it starts it turns half my screen black and then says it has stopped working and then says looking for a solution and then it says it cant find any another window also pops up in the background that says cod console, and it has an error message on it that says "unhandled exception caught" and i have to go into task manager then to close out of everything.... anyone know whats going on here?

If it is a torrented version it aint gonna work. If not try:
1) Go to radeon web page and update drivers
2) Completely remove game from your PC and reinstall it including any microsoft c++ redistributables it trys to offer

i bought it on amazon, the key code for steam it said approved and then downloaded it, and im about to reinstall the game first what are the redistributables??? and how do i re install them, thanks

They will be included in download if necessary. Just wanted to assure that you don't uncheck them if the option is given
